This is my first time buying leather ,I have a small bookbinding project it will be my 2nd book ,1st with leather and being new to the craft I can’t give an expert opinion. Over all I am happy with the leather all flaws are close to the edge of the hide. The leather is really supple. & I am looking forward too seeing if I can pull off a rebind as a gift supple.

I rarely need leather so I purchased this because it was a good price. The description stated that there were holes in the skin but I thought I would be able to work around them. The holes were in the center of the skin. My advice would be to contact the seller before purchasing and explain what you are looking for. My fault, not the sellers.
