    Good Game!!

It felt very good and very nostalgic to play this game for the first time in several years!! I am guessing Golf on the Nintendo NES was used as one of the precursors to some of the other sports video games made by Nintendo, Sega, MicroSoft, etc..!! 👏👍

  • Golf (NES)

Gameplay 8 Graphics 8 Sound 6 Value 8 Tilt 8 * Difficulty: Just Right * Learning Curve: 1 to 2 Hours * Time Spent: 20 to 40 Hours Golf in its earlier forms was a little crude. You didn't get the feel for the environment of the courses. The clubs felt a little more preprogrammed for their effectiveness, so it became more of a game of strategy of club selection rather than including some skill with aim and swing. This golf game was a little bit better. Watch Mario as he walks out on the course. You have your selection of clubs and you can aim, but the game does a great job at failing you if you don't aim properly at a hole and providing more depth to the greens. The wind plays a big factor too. Maybe a little more than it should, but it was good for Nintendo's first ...

  • Golf 1984

I love this game because I hate it lol. Unlike golf games of today which by comparison almost play themselves for you, this gives you no help. Like a masochist, I keep coming back almost daily in the hopes that I hole in one #14.

  • Great Game!

This is a top 10 collector item for the original NES. Plays as it should have in 1985

  • Fun vintage game!

Great old game! Easy to play but challenging to master.
