  • Sixteen Stone: A Guilty Pleasure

I have to admit, in the 1990s I was one of those musical snobs who hated that Bush had taken the masterpiece of Nirvana and distorted it into commercialized pop, but since then, I've mellowed, and recently gave Sixteen Stone another listen. I'll have to admit--I like it. To me, Bush is the musical equivalent of Cosmopolitan magazine. Shakespeare it's not, but I pop the CD in, listen to it, love it and don't really have to think about it. It's not deep or meaningful, but it's good to listen to. There are plenty of hits here from Everything Zen, to Gylcerine to my fave Come Down. It's still good enough, though, to put in as back ground music and play all the way through. Bush didn't change the world. The band was known as much for Gavin Rossdale's good looks as their music, but their ...

  • Great Bush CD

I used to own this CD when it first came out and Loved it. Now 12 years later I bought it and found that its still a great cd. The songs are still favorites and are played on the radio yet today. A lot of the tracks are on movies and its gavins voice is awesome.

  • Not too unique, but that's ok

Bush may not do the whole grunge thing as well as Nirvana, but they have still managed to distinguish themselves enough and write some good enough songs to make a pretty solid album. Gavin's voice has a powerful quality to it and the use of slide guitar is a nice, unique touch.

  • Great deal!

CD met my expectations, plays well. Replacement for my old CD. Nice to be able to find a great deal like this one!

  • Nice

Glad to have this back in my collection I have not listened to the whole album since I was a kid so I'm excited
