Our ceiling in our living room is 30 FT high. We placed it on our 2nd stair landing, with the lamp pointed straight up which causes the light to bounce off the white ceiling and illuminate the living room well. The light reminds me of early morning ambience. Very happy with how well this lamp solved our lighting issue in this room with such a super-high ceiling. I recommend this ebay seller.
