I got these for my mother who has poor vision. I of course tested them. I suspect it’s probably more like five times (5X) magnification as opposed to ten times (10X) though. As they’re coming from another country, it’s possible that there’s a miscommunication though. I felt a little foolish as I paid a little over $1.50 for each of them and it says $.50 right on the packaging, but considering shipping and Ebay fees, not a bad buy. It is easy to use, small enough to fit into a pocket, wallet, or small purse, seems sturdy enough for regular usage, I’ve posted some pictures to help with the description. It measures about 5” fully opened at its longest, 3” length folded at its longest, 2-1/4” widefolded, actual lense at its widest is 2” . Overall, a decent buy. Probably couldn’t do much better here. The only thing that would improve this would be an LED light that could be turned on and off as needed. I rated 3 Stars due to uncertain magnification and the price. While I don’t feel like this was a bad buy, it would be nice to know these are $.50 retail more or less... But still not a bad buy...Read full review

Compact, handy and functional. Easily fits in a purse or pocket. The swivel cover case is excellent to keep the lens from scratching. Price was fair.

No cons, nice size and assembled unit! Just what was needed for emergency kit. Plan on using for fire starter too!

This is a very impressive pocket magnifier. It arrived as expected & was put to work right away. They come in handy for reading very small print & starting a fire when I'm out of matches. I highly recommend picking one or two up.
