Not a good fit for Nikon coolpix p900
Not sure whose at fault, Nikon, or Bower. Although the hood adapter was for a 69mm lens, I could not effectively secure the adapter to the Nikon without it jumping threads, or slipping when installing the hood to the adapter. Very frustrating. There is not enough thread engagement with the jam-nut to keep it in place without jumping threads. Removing the jam-nut did allow more thread engagement without jumping out, but when installing the hood, it was out of phase with the lens. I am a machinist, so I "thinned" the jam-nut in my lathe by .040" to get a turn and a half more threat. Didn't help. I elected to use adhesive to get the proper "clocking" placement with the lens/sensor. Not sure it would have been any better with an import...Not sure whose at fault, Nikon, or Bower.
