    I haven't yet installed this item on my GL1500's. I was working around my shop this last weekend and found the package that I received my grommet in. I read the invoice and discovered that I had ordered and paid for two of the grommets. There is only one grommet in the envelope. I'm a little disappointed that it's been so long since I received the package and only now discovered that I was shorted.

    Chrome key accent.

    . No it didn't fit the hole where it was supposed to go into. I expected it to be a perfect fit, but it wasn't. In hindsight I should have used my knife and made the slotted area's on my dashboard a little bit bigger so that it would have fit it... It was too tight and I ended up breaking one of the tabs that holds it in place. I would not buy another one.
