    Easy to use, easy to hold.

    These clippers are very good quality. The grips are super easy to hold. I wish that the little guard was easier to remove as it would be very easy to cut past the quick of the dogs nail. That being said, all the nail clippers I have seen of this type have the same guard and these are very good quality.

    Extremely Loud!

    I looked at other reviews before settling on Safari. I was looking for very sharp and quiet nail trimmers, because the sound is what my dogs are afraid of. Well...they seem sharp enough, but they were actually louder than the one that I was replacing!

    OK for Medium dogs

    as a 50+ year dog rescue veteran,we have come across some tough,big dog nails,esp.German Shep,Rottweilers and Coon Hounds.Dogs over 100lbs? not a great value or great cutting.Looks nice,but that is where the utilitarian feature bows out.Too big for small dogs,please.You will hurt them! OK for medium dogs:beagles,pitties,retrievers,spaniels etc.
