    Astatic 636...Nothing more need be said.

    When I was a child sitting at my grandfather's base station we used an Astatic Lollipop model Microphone. When I grew up, got my frst car and installed my first CB radio, I was grateful to find that Astatic had hand-held models as well. I experimented with the 2 most common mics. The red devil voice amplified and the model 636 noise canceling. we are now some 35+ years down teh road and although I have upgrade my radios, They all have one thing in common; The Astatic 636 This Product by Astatic is so good, there have been very few upgrades to teh original concept pieces sold in teh 70's. Though today the mic can be upgraded with different styles and colors of screen and mic wiring. I always go with teh chromed wire wrap for long life of mic, and protection of mic wire, with teh addition ...

    I had an older Astatic 575 for years an years.. Got out of the hobby in 1996! Got back into CB radio in 2018.. Besides my old Cobra coffin mic.. This mic totally Rocks out of the box! Best Bang for the Buck out of the box!🤙👌

    Would recommend these mic's to anyone who asks what I use

    Astatic 636l

    Excellent sounding microphone at an excellent price. It even got here early. The only complaint I have is it's not "noise cancelling" you can't even whistle at this microphone without it picking up the sound of your breath.
