Tandy Brand replacement needle for the Tandy Sewing Awl
Tandy stitching awl needle, Tandy Brand fits Tandy Sewing Awl. I broke the one that came with the awl. This is a replacement from Tandy... has the thread grove all the way up the shank, probably also works with the Osborne Stitching Awl.

Exactly What I Needed
These needles are the only ones that fit an old C.A. Myers Co. Sewing awl. The company was bought by Tandy years ago. The original size 8 large needle lasted over 40 years of occasional use. They are sharp and strong.

just what I wanted
The original needles I had broke and I needed one with the groove all the way down the shank. I previously bought needles from an other source and the groove was only partly down. This needle is exactly what I needed and it worked great for me.

I was under the impression that this product was made in the USA and I had to have them to suit the American Awl Id bought but not so,Manufactured in Vietnam,at US$6 per needle the price was reasonable,The shipping from the United States for 2 needles was absolutely deplorable at over US$22.Had I known that this product was not produced in the USA I would have looked on another site.
