Country music the way it should be.
This is an amazing cd by an amazing artist. Iris Dement has the voice of an angel and is a national treasure. I'm not one for a lot of the new country rock, that being said there are some great country singers plying their trade these days. Iris can rock with the best of them but, when she sings her introspective songs about God and family and country this is where she shines. You have to read the liner notes and the words to her songs to truly appreciate the music. If you love family and country, then this album is a must have.
