    Delivers Wi-Fi signal outdoors around our rural property.

    I use the TP-Link RE650 AC2600 Wi-Fi Range Extender outdoors near my garage to extend my home router signal outdoors into the garage and to my poultry coop behind the garage. Besides my cell phone, the range extender provides signal to a wireless Wi-Fi camera, an Amazon Echo, and several Sonoff-type switches that control my poultry coop door and feeder, my Mighty Mule gate and the garage door opener. This Range Extender connects seamlessly and extends the Wi-Fi signal over a broad area outdoors. If I could change ANYTHING, it would to add the "High Speed mode" similar to that in the AC1750 Wi-Fi Range Extender that maximizes overall performance by combining the bandwidth of both the 5GHz and 2.4GHz channels to create a lightning-fast connection with one band sending data and the other ...

    Do Not Buy This Product for use in the US

    This unit ocmes with an adaptter for use in the US. The adapter is junk straight out of the box. The unit is so heavy it falls out of the wall receiptical and the blades on the adapter will bend and loose contact very easy. My advise do not by this product under any circumstances.

    Works well but doesn’t support mesh with my TP-Link router

    This is what I needed to level out my home’s WiFi. It works well, looks like new and am very pleased I found this. My only complaint is that I never checked to see if this would work as a mesh system with my TP-Link router. Sadly it does not create a mesh system, so for now I have to live with separate WiFi networks, but considering the cost of this device versus a brand new extender, it’s acceptable.

    Pretty good, but not quite as strong or consistent as hoped.

    Connecting it was a little more difficult than expected from reading the reviews, but it's up and running and I can get it's signal around my house. I get a strong signal from the 2.4 g band, but a weak signal from the 5 g band. I've tried rebooting it and changing some of the settings, which has helped, but I'm still a little disappointed that the signal is not quite as strong or consistent as I had hoped.

    The external signal King

    I had the TP-Link AC1200 RE355 and it would work intermittently and then a band would go out. About every 2 weeks I would have to reset it. I was hoping that using this and the TP-Link AC2600 RE650 would solve my problems by using them together throughout our 5,000 sq. foot home but it did not. So, I tried using just the AC2600 RE650 by itself and low and behold, through process of elimination it has held strong now for almost 4 weeks and no resets. Our home is all brick and stone exterior, so i'm not sure what affect that has on our router (which is at the highest point in a loft away from all other electronics) but we could not get any signal to the other end of the home. With the RE355, it helped a lot but was so intermittent. This has been a bonus and soooooooooo glad I purchased it.
