A great book a about amazing creatures - bees
A beautiful book well written and full of incredible detail about the amazing species the honey bee. Considering how detailed it is the writer has made it a fairly easy read with beautiful pictures to illustrate important points. Fascinating insight into swarming
This is an intriguing summary of Thomas's work to understand more about honey bees swarming from preparation to suitable nest selection. As somebody who doesn't read a lot of books, its an easy read, warmly written with a nice mix of facts and humour, but as a beekeeper its fascinating and reveals more details of these amazing little creatures. I'd recommend it to any beekeeper who likes learning more about their colonies.
