And nothing happened whenever I tried this method. Even though the instructions on how this works seems self explanatory. Based on my experience so far, not sure why the charging pad itself does not work at all with my phone in particular. But, it still works as a USB - C charger with the cord if nothing else. Good deal even if the charging pad doesn't work.
