Seller did not state that they were, but they appeared to be very similar to frames I had purchased from Walgreens in the past and they were metal. The frames I got were plastic and certainly not worth the money I paid. But again, this was not due to lack of communication or deception by the seller. Frames arrived very quickly and were well packaged.
