  • Great story of interesting adventures for children

In my opinion: This is a delightful children's story with a lot of charming adventures. Underlying messages of various negative and positive personality traits, habits and emotional states such as Grumble, Scorn, Flattery, Fearfulness, Spite etc. are enlightening for young children. The message, based on Pilgrim's Progress, can also be viewed as a Christian message, but it is more puritanical and moralistic than what many would believe to be the true message of Christianity. Perhaps this is the reason why there was not a demand for reprint. Otherwise, it is a classic.
