  • DonnaReedShow still great!

I LOVE THE DONNA REED SHOW! This Season 4 doesn't disappoint! It is funny, engaging & the family life is so interactive! And, wow was the Dad, Dr. Alex Stone a hunk! The comedy is just hilarious because you can relate to it, its not stupid slapstick. It takes things that people really do & say and that's funny! Like laughing at yourself. This is great viewing, u don't have to cover anyone's eyes or ears, no trash talk, no innuendo, just good morality, family, & true humor. I love it!

  • Times have sure changed

The Stone family retains some validity today, but the writing is strictly out of the '50s and '60s. However, the video is sharp and clear, the sound is about as good as it was the first time I saw these episodes way back when. Many DVDs promise high quality and deliver blurry images and poor sound so this is a good value. For a look at how America sort of saw itself in those years of the 1960s.
