    A good purchase for the time

    I needed to upgrade my iPad 2, and have found the 64 MB Mimi 3 to be a very satisfying upgrade. While it is not state of the art today, it is far faster and portable than my prior. I had worried about the screen size, but with the upgrade to retina I find the screen quite usable. I get a good 6 hours of near constant use for browsing, Kindle, and iBook magazine reading on vacation.

    It works

    I am happy to report that I am using the iPad, and it is working just fine. The main thing that I use it for is to watch movies or TV shows on airplanes. I can't comment on many of the features the iPad offers, but the movie replay works fine.

    Apple products are generally very good. The cost of the mini is the same as the air so just choose your size. I prefer the mini for travel and have the pro at home.
