    great product at a reasonable price

    I reviewed quite a few before selecting the VH-10. I almost purchased the VH-5 but finally decided on the VH-10 for its load rating. Haven't had it very long but I immediately found the damping and locking mechanism will keep my 6D/ 100-400L lens very stable. I thought the QR plate was the standard width but found it to be much wider. I have a standard width QR (after market) foot for my 100-400 which easily attaches to this plate. I also own a Sirui monopod/head .

    Very Great Video Head

    Works great, I was going to get a Manfrotto tripod until I found a Sirui tripod for super cheap. The legs were great but the head it came with didn’t pan up and down so I figured I’d stick with matching brands and get a nice video head for it. So far, this brand I’d never heard of has surprised me twice. Excellent quality, very smooth movement, very heavy and durable.

    This is a very nice video head.

    The video head has a very smooth fluid action to it. Very well dampened. The panning handle can be changed to either be postioned on the left or right side of the video head.
