The male end fit perfectly through the fire wall and It mated perfectly with the female receptacle in the aftermarket radio without the GM adapter. The cable length on the antenna was more than enough for my application. I receive many, many more AM and FM stations without any static now. As my old antenna was defective for sure, this was a perfect replacement.
