It lives up to the hype
I upgraded from a nine speed Sora to an 11 speed 105. There really is a difference between groupsets when you upgrade a couple of levels. I only ride on the flats so I went with a 12-25 cassette so that I can dial the perfect gear for me since most of the cogs progress in one tooth increments. The shifting is much smoother too, but I think that part of that is result the of there being less space between years ago not as much Acton is required when using the brifter (which leads to less movement of the rear derailleur). Though I have to admit that the shifting of the front derailleur is smoother too (105 vs Sora, stayed with a double compact 50/34). It's a worthy groupset.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
