This is a great tablet!!
I love this device. I have purchased three of them so far. One for my wife, myself and a friend who wanted one because they were so impressed with ours. Not too big, not too small. I rooted our devices with Cyanogen. This opens the device up to it's full Android potential without the B&N stuff getting in the way. I take it with me everywhere. I don't have a smartphone so this device does for me everything that a smartphone can do except take pictures and make calls. Of course I can only use the internet when I am around WiFi. Amazing Little Tablet!
Though I was skeptical about this tablet, I had always been an Apple user! Not anymore! This little thing is GREAT! I usually just use it as an e-reader but I enjoy the option to add more apps as I see fit. The best part is there is NO camera! I'm not allowed to have a camera at work so it's great being able to take this with me Monday-Friday. My favorite Nook
I own many Nooks, and of all of them, I have decided that the Nook HD is my favorite. There are a few weird quirks as far as downloading apps and connecting via Bluetooth, but for reading, movies, and the few other things I really need it for, it's great.
