Only complaint I have with the seller SMKW was I was not meaning to purchase at this time and was wondering about just financing it the Klarna and did not realize it was not clicked on. I asked to cancel the order 5 min. after placing it and they refused. Put me in a slight bind.

    High Quality, High Value knife from KaBar that has stood the test of time

    Knife seems well built and comes very sharp. Leather sheath is made in mexico but seems well built also. Handle is a nice size but a little on the slippery side. Put some #15 o-rings in the handle grooves and that seems to make it perfect. Very happy with this knife.

    Over-all evaluation.

    The Kabar knife, "Made in the USA" is fine. The sheath is nothing but cheap junk made in mexico. Kabar sullies their reputation for quality by not manufacturing the sheath in the USA, also! I have a Kabar knife AND SHEATH from 20 years ago.........and the USMC emblem embossed in the leather is far superior to that on this recent purchase.

    US Army Ka-Bar

    Over the years I have owned several Ka-Bar Model 1220s. There is, in my opinion, no blade that is more reliable, be it on a camping or hunting trip or on the battlefield. The seven inch blade is the perfect size for my bushcraft needs. The stacked leather handle is shaped for a good grip and is tough. Unfortunately, the sheath, which is well made, is made in Mexico, but that is forgiven. In the future though, I would love to see them made here in America. I own several Ka-Bars and each has it's specific purpose. I wouldn't have any other blade hanging on my pistol belt. They are battle tested and are number one when it comes to toughness. They come out of the box with a razor's edge and retain that edge longer than a lot of other blades I own. Being the Army model, they are the ...
