Synopsis
These 18 darkly complex short stories and novellas touch upon human nature and perception, metaphysics and epistemology, and gender and sexuality, foreshadowing a world in which biological tendencies bring about the downfall of humankind. Revisions from the author's notes are included, allowing a deeper view into her world and a better understanding of her work. The Nebula Award-winning short story Love Is the Plan, the Plan Is Death, the Hugo Award-winning novella The Girl Who Was Plugged In, and the Hugo and Nebula Award-winning novella Houston, Houston, Do You Read? are included.

A very good copy, not BCE, of a rather hard to find 1st edition with unclipped dj. Seller was excellent, adding additional pics and answering questions. Book as described but for 2 small tears to dj. Priced very competitively with reasonable shipping and good packaging.. Seller dispatched the same day so delivery was fast. A pleasant, easy transaction. 5 Stars 🌟

The product tested perfect. It is as described. The packaging was adequate. The speed of shipping, actually arriving at my home was really SLOW. I ebay messaged this Seller inquiring where my item might be and the Seller did not respond to me. I was polite in my inquiry and gave no reason why a reply would not have been appropriate.

This relates to a June 1983 issue of Photo magazine. There is a specific set of photos in it that I have been looking for. The magazine was in the used but good condition that I expected. It was clearly not described as "mint", and I did not expect it to be. It was shipped in a cardboard mailer envelope, which is a little thicker than a priority mail or express mail envelope. I was worried about the mailer. It was damaged at some point. And today has been a rainy day. The magazine survived. 👍
