    A good investment under the right circumstances.

    Works well on short haired dogs, but not as well on long haired. An odor is present, but not overpowering or bad. It may take a few days for the dog to acclimate to the collar; it may be the odor or the chemicals involved. A good purchase overall.

    Great price, however horribly ineffective.

    When you have four dogs and two cats, fleas will be a part of your life regardless of circumstance. So I bought these collars. I've seen virtually no difference I tested this against a seresto collar and the seresto naturally performed better but still not perfect. All in all, I don't feel collars work well

    Hartz Ultra Flea and Tick Collar

    I have always been skeptical of flea collars. The ones I purchased in the past weren't good, but the three I just bought worked pretty well on my three dogs. They were all scratching and fighting the fleas before I put the Hartz collars on. They contiued scratching for about three days, then they stopped. I gave a shave haircut to one today and she did not have a flea on her. The Hartz collars work very well, I am very pleased with this product. They also are removable if you want to give your pet a bath.

    Good product and easy to apply.

    Easy to apply. Do not forget to stretch it so the active ingredients get activated and will be distributed into the fur of the dog. It is long enough for bigger dogs and can be shortened for smaller dogs. I double wound it around the neck of our really small dog and that works beautifully. I can not yet say how long it will stay active as we got it only a few weeks ago.

    Works good and costs even better.

    I don't have to remember every month to put drops on my dog. I don't like putting something on my dogs skin. It works good and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It came in a 2 pack so they are good for 14 months. That's my kind of deal.
