The inflator plug got extremely "hot" when plugged into the vehicle's 12 volt outlet. I used these battery terminal connectors to alleviate that problem! No more plug heating and tire inflator works very well with these terminal connectors. I would recommend this for the larger 12 volt tire inflators to prevent blowing fuses. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++
