    Draws you in !!!

    Hello - I have seasons 1 and 2 which were great. Had a great story line with each episode. I picked up season 3 in order to continue and watch what comes next. I know that Henry Cavill is on his last season. Which is disappointing, I just hope he is replaced with someone just as worthy. Henry has to move on and do other things in his career.     Awesome Series, Bad Watch Experience

    The show itself is fantastic, Olan Rogers presents a series I had no idea I wanted so much from and it is presented so well and tugs at my heart strings. I went in laughing with the first two seasons and came out tearing up with the third season partly since it gets serious, but you connect with the characters in a meaningful way so there is reason to tear up and the other reason being that there will never be a season 4. The downside I was presented with was the quality of the DVDs, the audio and visual would de-sync every 30 seconds making it a nearly unwatchable experience, and this happened with every single disc except for the second disc which would outright not even play so I missed out on the first seven episodes of season 2 (which I am sure is amazing) but it stinks that I have ...

    disenchantment is wonderful

    disenchantment is wonderful. very funny in parts and quite clever, and you get pulled into the dramatic parts of the story and root for your favorite characters. the character design and backgrounds are great, and the music is fabulous - it really fits with the whole disenchantment concept. i liked disenchantment so much that i bought the dvds since i might be cancelling the streaming service i watch it on soon, and i want to re-watch it many times in the future.

    I never heard of this animated series until by chance, I came across it on YouTube. I liked what I saw & was curious about it. Also, it got VERY GOOD reviews. However, because of its cancellation, there was NO WAY to watch the series b/c TBS took it off the air & there was no other media for anyone to watch it. I was SO GLAD to see a DVD set posted on e-Bay that I immediately placed an order for it & I'm currently up to Season 2 - Part 2 now. This animated show is AWESOME!!!!! :-)

    Juvenile, not meant for wide dissemination.

    The color is good. The characters were potentially interesting, but never got a chance to be effective. The thing is broken into "chapter" bits that are not even part of the whole, just stand alone SHORT segments joined every three minutes by a four minute rehash of the "theme" music. If whomever decided to butcher the product had written a screen play that moved along and didn't just re state how big the segments main characters boobs were, they could have had time to write a story that was fleshed out rather than pushing flesh on us (again) without anything new, just more of the same for the 14th time. It could have been an entertaining DVD, with exposition of what the creator felt was necessary to help the viewer follow the story and from time to time have a chance to appreciate ...
