Great little unit for a suppressed rim fire rifle that you would use to keep varmints out of the yard. It does a pretty good job all around but doesn’t have the resolution if you need to use zoom. If your looking for something entry level and know that it has limited range from the get go it is a great optic that has all the same features of its higher resolution family.

I was expecting about 100yds from the (Rattler TS25-256), but, zeroed at 50yds was a breeze and a 1gal. milk jug with hot water was no problem detecting and clear enough picture at 150yds. to make contact first shot. Identified a skunk around 75yds with details clear enough to know what it was without question and deer at 200yds. I highly recommend this thermal if you're in the market and on a budget. I expect that anything the size of an average coyote wouldn't be a problem out to about 200yds. I was shooting with an outdoor temp. of 84*F, so, cooler weather should make it even better at sensing and identifying your target.

This thing is worth it!!!! Agm is killing it with the optics and Euro optics has a great price. Got this and the taipan scanner. My buddy brought his night vision and we went out. Next day he purchased Agm! Will be buying Agm again!
