Looks good, seems good, too early to tell
I've had very bad results with these through the counter pumps. I've been through at least 6. Usually they break off at the base of the pump (which is not replaceable), and on the all metal one, the neck snapped off under the countertop. This one installed very easily, and appears to be a better build. The descending neck thread is plastic. the plastic bottle has a much smaller opening on top than the others, but I don't know if that matters. Excellent choice
I love my pumps (bought 4 of them!). They are a high quality build, come with clear instructions, and work exactly as advertised. I'd previously been using "leftover" Method pumps and was so frustrated with their poor quality build. These pumps are great. I put a different colored pump in each bathroom and the kitchen.

Exact replacement for one that I liked very well. which finally wore out.
Had the same dispenser that quit pumping after a few years. This is a replacement. Pros: Holds a reasonable amount, and dispenses a little at a time. Also it leans toward the sink, so less water lands on the countertop. Also, the suction cup is large and very flexible. Cons: Likely not easy to recycle when it finally stops working.
