    The good weather band reception is what makes it a bargain

    Good sound quality for the size. Like that it has a speaker and not just headphone jack. It stand up nicely at a slight angle either on the bottom or side of radio. Weather band reception is good and that is what makes this radio great for the price. AM and FM reception is also surprisingly good for size.

    I would buy again.

    Its a small radio with good sound quality and selectivity is also good on reception. only negative side, tuning for channels you must be very slow while tuning. Tuning with the tuning indicator light is helpful. when using a ear bud or head phone, the ear bud or head phone line acts as an antenna, eliminating the need to pull up the antenna when selecting FM or Weather Band.     Dead on Arrival

    I knew I had to install my own battery but even after that was done only a few stations barely came in and I live in a big city. Do not waist your hard earned money on this type of product. I would have liked that it worked but no luck.

    Great radio at this price point

    Have had this for over a year and can recommend it as a very good travel radio for keeping up with weather broadcasts and local news. Analog controls are completely intuitive. Sound is very good for its size. Sensitivity and selectivity are fine. Works well on rechargeable batteries and for a considerable period of time. As there is no parasitic drain when turned off, this can be tucked away as an emergency radio too.

    Works Well In Rural Areas

    Well the price was low and the quality was high, it's not really fair for me to comment too much, as I live in a really rural area on the edge of the great Mojave desert, with all the stations on the other side of the Angeles National Forest.
