The antenna I received is a ham 10 meter (28-29.7 MHz) antenna, and because it has the narrow bandwidth typical of base loaded short whips, it is not usable in the Citizens Band (26.9 to 27.4 MHz). In the Citizens Band, the voltage SWR with a 50 ohm source is greater than 25, which can potentially damage the transmitter output stage in a CB transceiver.
