I grew up using Eagle Claw fishing tackle. As time moved on I got caught up in the graphite tackle. Recently after reading reviews on the Eagle Claw Featherlite #4 Fiberglas rod I decide to purchase one to pursue panfish. I mated with #4 reel and line and it casts like a dream. I would recommend this rod for any fly fisher’s arsenal. Fiberglas still performs when it counts.

Its not an exspensive rod but it works great for smaller trout and panfish. Probably could handle some bass if played properly. Nice build quality with rosewood/brass reel seat. Built in tape measure up to 18 inches along the length of the rod. Nice cork handle too.

Bit disappointed that it's not made in America. Couldn't see label on picture to say Made in China nevertheless it's a good quality rod. Still got my rid from 1997 that was made in America. So all good. Could do with a storage tube though which would help with posting and protect rod better. Good altogether.😁

Works great, cast great with a 6wt line. The joint is a little sketchy but once it’s together it’s rock solid. For cheap rod to use in some narrow creeks it works well.

This is my third EC fly rod. I have an old 6-1/2 foot for small water, a 7’ 5/6WT which is fantastic, and this new one 7’ 4WT which looks great but I haven’t put it on the water yet. Everything about it looks and feels perfect, I will string it up soon and test it, but it’s very nicely finished and feels very balanced. These are getting hard to come by which is sad because they are so good for the price.
