Our Lexus started down shifting hard just before coming to a stop. The Lexus dealership wanted to replaced EVERTHING and charge us $11,000! A shop downtown said all we'd need was a new ECU and to have it programmed. They'd buy one and program it for us for $2,500. Well, at least that's much better. But then I found this service, where I could send in my own ECU (therefore no programming needed) and get them to freshen up the contacts and traces, etc. for just $200!!!!!!. Amazing. What do you have to lose? We tried it and our car now drives like a dream again.
