not sure why they're so expensive but if you're using your winch to plow you need this switch. you'll never go back to those little handlebar mounted switches that never tighten down properly and are hard to operate with winter gloves on. mount this switch to the left side panel of your bike and you'll never think of going back to the handle bar switch that comes with your winch. extremely easy wiring and mounting.

Seems a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. A Warn winch came on my 2002 Polaris 400 Sportsman ATV (purchased 2001) which we use almost exclusively for snow plowing. That's in Alaska, so this switch has seen a LOT of action in the past 17 years. Toward the end of last winter (March 2018) the return mechanism failed on the switch, so it had to be manually returned to the center to stop. I decided to spend the money for a replacement that works properly instead of risking damage to winch. Easy swap out. 17 years seems like a pretty good run time so I can recommend the switch.

This switch was similar to the original oem model . Works fine , but harder to wire nicely with all the connections behind the switch . The original had two connections located externally . Not sure why they discontinued that model. But the functionality is the same except the orientation of the handle is sideways and not straight up and down . Overpriced , but couldn't find em cheaper anywhwere else .

There is no way on God's green earth that this switch should cost four to five times what another winch switch would cost, but, it works, and it works well. If you like "Warn" you'll want to stick with a "Warn" control.
