Exact replacement of my old unit, and sounds just as good!
The reason I was looking for this specific IPOD player was to replace the one I had before that recently stopped playing my music. The previous player (the exact model) I have had for many years and always worked and played great. Just one day something stopped working?? The new unit has an attractive design, is easy to operate, and plays great sounding music playback. And as a bonus, this unit has a remote, which I did not have with the original model I owned. I'm saving the old one for parts (just in case), or if I can find someone to fix it. I've taken this player everywhere - outside, to the beach, on the deck, by the pool, to parties, even Mexico. Easy to take with you anywhere
I was given a gift of an older iPod that has a lot of good music. It was intended that while I would recuperate from surgery, I'd have plenty of music to enjoy. But, the sound on the iPod alone was too quiet and I did not want to be tied to ear buds. I found this 30 pin docking station that keeps the iPod charged and plays loud enough to enjoy while resting. It is not going to be a portable speaker for the whole house, or have booming bass, but it has clean sound that fills the room.
