    Mobil ease

    This little radio is very easy to use. Fast to program in frequencies and easy to switch. Picks up stations just like its high priced competitors. However, I am not licensed so I don't know how well it works transmitting. But for the price just the reception mode is worth it.

    Very light and easy to use

    I have used it once and found it very easy to use and very effective. It had good range, very clear and the battery lasted a long time. The ear piece that came with it is not good and I bought a different one to use and am very happy with it. The charger that came with it works very fast.

    Beofeng UV-5R V2+

    Certainly priced low enough for an introductory HT or pocket monitoring HT or a spare HT. Programming instructions are a bit hard to follow and might be improved. Font in manual is a bit small. All in all very worth the money!

    Very nice

    These radios are such a great value. They are easy to program with the programming cable and Chirp software. I do recommend upgrading the stock antenna to the Baofeng V-85 which is a surprisingly capable antenna that is only slightly longer than the stock version. I own a couple of the original UV-5R's and this version just looks more elegant in my opinion.
