Star Wars: Battlefront -- Elite Squadron is a third-person shooter that allows players to take part in famous battles from throughout the Star Wars story. As in previous Battlefront games on consoles and home computers, players take the role of a soldier from the sci-fi fantasy series and engage in frontline combat with infantry weapons, light artillery, and vehicles. In Elite Squadron, players can customize their character by choosing weapons, armor, gender, and combat attributes, and by earning and using their choice of hundreds of unlockable weapons, items, and bonuses. In addition to the custom character they develop, in some modes, gamers can also play as central characters from the Star Wars saga, including Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Kit Fisto, Count Dooku, and Boba Fett, as well as some main characters originally featured in earlier Star Wars games. Players may commandeer equipment and vehicles in the heat of combat, including AT-RTs and troop transports, as well as TIE and X-Wing fighters. Following the Battlefront design, the main campaign is composed of decisive battles from the six Star Wars feature films, including the firefights on Endor, Yavin 4, and the icy planet Hoth. Nintendo DS and DSi gamers can also connect wirelessly, for multiplayer matches with up to four human-controlled soldiers.

I made offer on this item by mistake. Immediately sent seller a message explaining it was a mistake and asking them to reject the offer. They accepted anyway. It was my fault, my mistake and I ended up finding a good deal on the game that goes with the case, so it worked out well. Like I said, my mistake, but it would have been nice of the seller to at least respond to the message. The item is just as described and pictured, arrived quickly and well packaged.

    Nostalgia

    Graphics are good for a ds game I played this game when I was 5 or so, so i find it to be very fun and full of memories. It is top down free movement, the same game is on psp if you want 3D 3rd person.

    Nice game! Definitely recommend for an older child (10 +) due to difficulty

    I bought this game for my son who is a Star Wars fan. The difficulty level of the game is definitely for older kids. My son is 6 years old and it is a bit too advanced for him. The graphics are nice, and from what I've seen so far it is definitely a fun game to play. I'm sure my son will grow into it with time. I would definitely buy this game again as a gift for an older child.

    a fun game with a good story attatched with

    i like the story about the game the fact that it`s a star wars game i did`t like the fact about instant action i expected the game to be a little bit simillar to the psp version but overall it was a very entertaining game now if only i can find someone esle who has this game
