    Impressive router, even more impressive price

    I've struggled with covering my roughly ~5000sq ft house with a solid wireless connection without breaking the bank. Google's newest WiFi solution had me stoked but by heavens is that expensive. This router represents the opposite of that. Router triples up with switch, wireless routing, and a wireless access point, while managing to handle all three seamlessly thanks to it dual 2.4/5.0 gHZ available bands. I'm currently using this to cover half of house and the signal is easily touching all ~2500sq ft needed. Wired config: - Inbound connection to ethernet port 0 from AC network adapter connected to primary modem/router - 1 gaming PC via ethernet port 1 - 1 at home work station via ethernet port 2 Wireless config (5.0 gHZ): - 1 Chromecast - 1 x 10 phones, tablets, and ...

    Great for moderate use: most people wont need more

    Cons: Flimsy, keep it out of the reach of little ones or it will get broken. No Wifi 6. Pro's: I have fiber and with this router we have cameras, doorbell cam, 3 tv's and multiple tablets etc streaming(kids, grandkids etc) and it buffers a little sometimes but overall for the price in 2019( $15 used) this is a great router for moderate home use. - easily split 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks; important for many smart home devices that wont work with 5ghz or mesh routers that may not properly assign them to 2.4ghz -ability to set up guest network -easily hackable to accept aftermarket router firmware if you want too. I purchased a usb laptop fan unit and used command strips to add a cooler to the back of this router and it runs very cool; may help extend its life.

    Great router - especially for the price

    This router made my budget internet speed usable again. I upgraded from an old router I bought in 2012. After doing some research online, I decided to go with this netgear router. Setup was easy. The price was great, and my internet has never been faster!

    Almost Plug-N-Play!

    Super quick setup and I'm back up to my true internet speed over wireless ;) Body is lightweight plastic, so feels a little brittle, but just don't put anything on top of it or leave it in a vulnerable spot..duh :P
