The packaging looked slightly worn but not more than expected for an item no longer in production and likely many years old. The price seemed reasonable for a discontinued item. There was a slight (2 days) delay in delivery but not an obstacle for us since the a/c unit was our upstairs unit. When it arrived I loaded the batteries and it fit perfectly into the existing base and started the a/c immediately. Overall we are pleased.
