It was everything that it was advertised to be. It should of been shipped in a larger box. The hat was crinkled up a little bit and it will have to be shaped up so that the embroidery can be more outstanding. Better packaging would help when you have USPS handing your stuff. It may sound like I not happy but I’m extremely happy with my purchase. The Seller is A+++++

  • Panasonic Blu-Ray Player DMP-BD605

The player I got was cheap on the bidding. I saved some money when compaired to going to the store and purchasing a similar unit. There are some nice features it comes with 1- HDMI cable, 1- Red, Yellow, White (Audio/Video cable), remote and batteries. Some of the features I like about the player is it can be connected to the internet via a Lan cable. This alows the player to get automatic software updates and even the ability to watch youtube. This palyer is a blue-ray and it will upsacle normal DVD's. It also has a SD card reader and a USB port I believe so you can connect your camera to the DVD player to view your photos. Most HD televisions already have that stuff however it is nice if you have a tv that may be HD but you dont have those functions. In the end I saved money didnt have ...

  • Amazing Picture and sound!

I have other Blu Ray players, but this is Far superior to anything else I have owned (including a PS3) The picture is amazing! The up-convert for DVD is superb! It is very difficult to see the difference from a Blu Ray and an up-converted DVD! (This is nice, because I don't have to replace all of my DVD's!) The bd605 is identical to the BD-60 except the 605 comes with an HDMI cable, that's it. (When buying an HDMI cable, don't go and drop 50-100 bucks for a cable, I have a cable that I bought on Ebay for 3 bucks and it is the same picture quality as my $90 Monster Cable! Don't waste your money) There is one gripe about this unit; The front panel display does not include the chapter number... It does include the time though. Loading Speed; It takes ...

  • Exactly the player I wanted

Okay, this is not the biggest and baddest player on the block. But one thing it does better than several I have tried is play standard dvd's. I don't want to have 2 players but the blu-ray players I had all were if-y with standard dvd's. I searched and read tons of reviews and they were NOT wrong. This baby plays standard dvd's as well as blu-ray and loads BOTH very quickly. I also wanted a player that WASN'T wifi since I have a ROku for that and didn't need that extra (it can be used with the ethernet if you want to go online). So for me this was perfect. A simple, straight forward, high-quality blu-ray player with exceptional dvd capabilities and reasonable too! If you want a straight-forward blu-ray player that is handy with your old dvd collection and has a clear delivery ...

  • Only if you are lucky, you will get a reliable unit,

You may wonder why there are so many refurbished units out there, for Panasonic, one of the most respected consumer electronics, and my only favorate maker. I believe these units are assembled under extremely cheap labor with no or poor QC, ended up very un-reliable product. I purchased one, defective on power board, and got a replacement from the ebayer, no question asked, and work fine and happy. The seller didn't want to take the defective return. That's how abundance in refurbished inventory, my guess. I would say there might be more good unit than defective. that's pretty poor remark for brands like Pana. I believe they have learned an expensive lesson. Young Yoo

  • Great Blu-Ray Player

This player is great. Crystal clear image, great variety for outputs (as though you might use something other than HDMI). This is likely one of the fastest starting Blu-Ray players I have ever seen. Most take a few minutes to begin playing the movie. Not this one. It's "fast start" option in the setup menus allows for quicker starting. It runs smooth and quiet. I highly recommend this blu-ray player for anyone interested in a mid to high end player for a good price. I am even considering a second one myself.
