I had a DOA that was NOT the fault of the seller (long story, but the delivery issues were in no way the seller’s fault & unrelated to anything they did during shipping- this is a risk whenever you ship fish). Despite this, I was offered replacement fish at the cost of shipping or a 15% refund, again for something that wasn’t even the seller’s fault. I felt this was going above and beyond to compensate when there was no mistake on the seller’s end and the communication was absolutely fantastic.

Messaged the buyer on the date of purchase to ask what day we should receive the package- Seller never responded. Received the fish today as soon as usps arrived and we took in the package. All fish were dead. Messaged the buyer a few hours later to let him know and to come up with some resolution but he denied refund and blamed me because I didn't message within the 1 hour window. I believe the fish arrived dead because there was very little water/ oxygen in the bag.

Buyer had access to tracking as soon as it was delivered to the post office.
The buyer received the fish at 2:01pm. Then reached out at 8pm to report issues on their order.
The customer was offered a replacement at the cost of shipping.
Funkys fish will always happily replace doa or provide a full refund if requested within reasonable time (1 hour of delivery)
