Solid build. Smooth action on both iris and focus. All the hype is real. This lens takes really clean pictures. I was expecting blow-out and light leaks, but it is just beautiful Incredibly shallow depth of field. Excellent bokeh. In percievable breathing. I've disappointed by cheap lenses in the past and would always say to myself "You get what you pay for" ...but this lens is a REAL WINNER!
