Used shoe boxes that barely fit an item does not make for appropriate packing. When you use packing paper and have to stuff it in to tape it shut, that is truly "hoping for the best." I'm leaving positive feedback because I'm satisfied with the item, but I truly hope you improve your packing effort. It was sheer luck that the piece wasn't damaged as the box was pushed in - it was completely inadequate and shows a lack of care for the item to arrive safely. Do better for future customers.

I've always loved certain Disney classics, and this is definitely one of the best! It's a fairytale of love and adventure - can't get much better than that! This 2-disc set has one with the movie, one with bonus features. The featured one gives three options of how to watch the movie. You can watch the extended version or the actual theatrical release. It is good quality with good music and characters, along with humor. I was led to believe this was a legitimate Disney manufactured product. However this is bootleg - a quality one, but bootleg nonetheless. When it is played in my dvd it makes a very loud whining noise. On the other hand, it's a decent quality picture and Disney has not released Beauty and the Beasy to be sold in stores for years so this is really the only option to watch the film as of right now. Another great Disney movie!
I bought this movie as I am building a Disney DVD collection for my 3-year-old granddaughter. I put it on for her the other day. She was enjoying the movie until the first scene with Beast. When Beast jumped out roaring, my grandbaby ran out of the room screaming!! I had to calm her down by talking about & replaying the beginning of the movie where it explains that the witch had put a curse on the handsome prince for his mean & selfish attitude. I explained what the prince would have to do to have the curse removed. She chose to watch the rest of the movie & enjoyed it, but I've noticed that she now asks/talks incessantly about monsters... :-/ I also noticed that a few musical scenes have been included on this DVD. Personally, I think these scenes should have remained on the cutting room ... I bought this movie as I am building a Disney DVD collection for my 3-year-old granddaughter. A very fine movie by every body's standards.
A very good movie. Saw it in the on the big screen, had it on VHS and now have it on DVD. A great story and very good songs too. Good leads and fine cast. A great one for the whole family too.

This is not a new dvd, it did not contain the Disney movie rewards. Besides that the movie quality is great. The picture is great and the movie does not skip. I was upset at first not getting a new movie but after watching the movie I am very pleased! It is a great price for the quality and I would recommend buying this movie! Very happy with my purchase!!
