    Watch this Season Again. It Made More Sense to Me The Second Time !!

    I feel in love with this show from Episode 1. You have to watch Season 3 more than once to get it though. My memories of that Season that only saw the one time it ran on Showtime, was that it was all about the prison guard and Noah. After Revisiting the Season, there was way more to it. I was quick to write this season off. Glad I decided to purchase and revisit it. Off the Topic, I had been going out to Montauk since the 1980's and the Restaurant "The Lobster Roll" is Real. I have eaten there. Many/Most of the Montauk scenes though, I do not recognize. So they are not filming out in Montauk.

    the affair is something to remember

    gripping drama with engaging characters. storyline keeps viewers on edge waiting for next plot twist. best way to view is binge watch with adult beverage at hand. even though you can get so upset with noah for his human weaknesses and childlike behavior you still can't wait to see what happens to him next.

    Entertaining and a worhwhile follow-up to Seasons One and Two

    Season Three runs off the rails a bit - it's got a lot of filler to kill time, as if the script writer ran out of ideas. But overall, it's worth watching and is a good lead-in to Season Four, which I have not seen yet.
