There was a bent corner from what appears to be a drop during shipping, but the unit appears plenty strong and it doesn't appear to be affecting the funcion whatsoever. If you're storing anything taller than blu-rays or DVDs, I would use the longer bottom tubes. I'd also use a rubber mallet, as the fit can be pretty tight in some areas.
