AmeriGlo Sights for Glock 42
There's not too many folks making good black metal fixed pistol sights. I'm old school concerning sights. During my time with the Army Advanced Marksmanship Unit we used the Classic Bomar adjustable sights on AMU built 1911's. Both front and rear sights were BLACK. For time time shooting there's absolutely nothing wrong with black sights. I know the rage nowadays is fiber optic, and I've used them. But, I shoot no better with fiber optic sights than I do with black metal sights. I used an MGW sight tool to install these AmeriGlo sights on my Glock 42. Installation was a breeze. I absolutely love these sights. They are robust and the sight picture is crisp and clean with good daylight in the rear notch. I wish these sights were also made for the larger Glocks. My eyesight isnt what it used to be and these sights are just I needed. The thin front sight and wider rear sight notch makes for a quick acquisition, throw on a little bright paint on the front sight and it's even better. Yeah these are not "precision" bullseye sights but then again my handgun isn't a sniper rifle these will get the job done.

new metal replacement sights for Glock
Front replaced the original perfect with screw from underneath. My original back was plastic and this new sight went right in the slot. I just tapped it in with a wood dowel. Good sight picture. can drift right or left. Fit is nice and snug. Good value for the money.

AMERIGLO SIGHTS
I like the simple black-colored steel sights. I'll usually paint the front sight red or white which then stands out against the black rear. For a Glock, these steel sights are more robust compared to the standard polymer Glock sights.
