Katherine Waterson is "HOT", to die for! I definitely recommend this movie!
Wow! This was a great movie! I was very impressed with the acting of this young new cast. John Leguizamo is a very good actor and played his role well. I was never a big fan of Cynthia Nixon, but she did a good job as his wife. The real star was Katherine Waterson! Wow! What a beauty! She was stunning as the high school girl who masterminds this whole "Babysitter" plan. She played the part of a 16-17 year old, and we all knew she is really not that young. And what a body! To me, that was the only drawback to the movie. I appreciate that the director, David Ross, was able to make his point without all the nudity that most movies seem to need to keep audiences, but come on!?! Ms. Waterson is incrediby sexy and we should have seen at least a little more of her in that capacity. More ... Wow! This was a great movie! The Babysitters
I read reviews concerning the film, most of them negative because of the subject matter. I think how unfortunate the younger generation is becoming because of poor social re-engineering. When I was younger, one of the icon teenager movie classics was Risky Business. Even today commercials mimic Tom Cruise sliding across the hallway floor at the entrance to the family living room and pretending to be a rock star. The movie was about the coming of age in an unsupervised environment, kids learning about about their sexuality and the interaction with professionals in the trade. The Babysitters is the same subject matter, but involving girls instead of guys. For some reason, purists feel it is taboo when it involves young girls instead of teenage boys. I don't much understand movie ratings of today when kids are playing extremely violent video games involving gratuitous acts and criminal behavior all afternoon but are restricted from watching a movie involving similar criminal subject matter as in the property destruction scene. The Babysitters is about young teenage girls engaging in grownup activities in a business environment. The girls discover a service to provide, a ready market of customers or clients, develop a business plan including advertising, develop a business model and monitors competitive factors including intelligence. While the movie touches on the morality issues, it focuses on the interaction of the fellow employees more the social ramifications of the chosen business venture. In fact, legal authorities are absent in the movie except for the sole appearance of a security guard. The girls, with the exception of one of the employees, find the monetary rewards exceed the moral conflict of the actions used to obtain the wealth. This I find is pretty indicative of the mind set of the generation of kids today. Both my wife and I loved the movie. The performances were good in that the actors made the characters believable. Catherine Waterston did a great job and I guess to the true credit of an actress, makes you wonder if she is the same in real life. I thought the cast was good and the over all film quality excellent. This film is a keeper for our library and I would definitely recommend it to others. I would file it right next to Risky Business on our shelf.

This movie has a lot of twists to it. It's about a bunch of teenage girls who babysit for certain families. When the father would take the babysitter home, he would sleep with her and pay her for it. I was horrified and yet I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. This movie is not approapriate for kids, and i would highly recommend you not let your teenage daughter watch this movie so she won't get any ideas. Overall I would recommend it for the grown-ups after the kids go to bed.This movie has a lot of twists to it. It's about a bunch of teenage girls who babysit for certain families.
