A great basic MP3 player.
I got this MP3 player for Christmas in 2004, and it has been a great MP3 player ever since. The 128MB flash memory storage space holds a decent amount of music, and the sound quality is very good. Since this player is solid state with no moving parts, it's virtually indestructible. It's included audio organizer is great, but the media player gets a little intrusive and tries to take over all of your file types. Not a big deal if you know how to assign file types. The only real drawback is that there is no LCD screen. Great if it only worked
After a week or two, mine started turning off randomly and eventually stopped responding. Since it was so cheap, I bought another. This one I ruined by getting out of my car while it was still connected, visibly ripping out the USB connector. Since I had done this with the first unit, although it still worked, I figured that's what messed it up. So I bought it a third time (it's only $20). After replacing the battery, it turned on once and it was unresponsive again. I reseated the battery and now it won't even turn on. This is the second day I've had it; I didn't even get a chance to use it. Perhaps the players I bought were inexpensive for a reason, and maybe the newer versions are more durable.
