    So much for 'universal'...

    I bought these to convert my front door 6x9 factory space to install 6.5" components. Now, anyone who actually owns a bunch of power saws and sawhorses and Dremels would likely just build a template out of MDF. I don't have any of those so I opted for these hoping they would just break off or require minor cutting with snips or a razor knife. I was dreadfully mistaken... There is no outline for a 6.5" speaker, unbelievable since this is the most popular speaker size. I hacked these things up with a hacksaw and a vise as, again, I do not have a lot of woodworking tools. I ended up breaking both of them, hopefully the super glue holds.... Ugliest install ever, thank goodness the speakers are behind the door panel!!

    sent different adapters that didn't support 5.25 speakers I was able to glue them into place but other than that its a good quality adapter
