AC-DC adapters are another commodity item where one shops for a few specific features at the best price. This adapter met all expectations with flying colors. It is a switching type supply, meaning its 12V output (actually about 12.3V) is the same whether lightly or heavily loaded. AC plug prongs are oriented such that the adapter mounts sideways in a terminal strip so it doesn't cover 2 or 3 other outlets. Unit is light, and build quality is good. Cable is heavier duty cylindrical type rather than the often used light-gauge twin lead. DC plug is center "+", which is a very common configuration (check your device before ordering). As there were several 12V switchers available, I bought this one based on cost. Barring any long-term reliability problems (which I don't expect), it's a ...
